Novacaixagalicia is a pioneer company on software quality certification process implementation. In fact is one of the few spanish businesses that has achieved the CMMI certification, level 5, for the software that they develop and the process that supports this development.

Optimyth Software held a business breakfast in Madrid on 24th May. In this event, Novacaixagalicia presented the advantages of a Software Quality Assurance Centre. José Antonio Fernández, International Architecture and Support Director of Novacaixagalicia shared the real experience of a software quality leading company in Spain and how the Optimyth's tools have helped them with the implementation of quality assurance processes in order to, among others, reduce the maintenance costs and improve the software development productivity.

The event was closed with a round table, during which, the attendees were free to share their experiences in software quality implementation with the other attendees and the speaker. The interaction between all companies that attended the event, together with Novacaixagalicia's case study and the presentation of Optimyth Software's solutions were the most valued points of the event by all attendees.
