Optimyth Software will be the technology partner that will work alongside the “Agencia del Conocimiento y la Tecnología” of the Government of La Rioja (“The Knowledge and Technology Agency” of the Government of La Rioja) in a project of management and improvement of the quality of the software in-use code, either developed internally or by third-parties.


In the words of The Knowledge and Technology Agency’s manager, D. Antonio Ruiz La Santa, “this is the first step in controlling the quality of the development phase, and to assure that the code that is put into production accomplishes the minimum requirements”.

The project is focused on the establishment and definition of a quality model and the execution of automated software audits and certifications. The quality assurance solution checKing QA from Optimyth Software, provides all the features required for an operative plan of continuous integration that decides whether or not to take the developments into production.

This ambitious initiative highlights the Agency as a state of the art organism, because apart from the innovative element of the project, it will let them certify the attainment of the ISO regulations related to software product quality ISO9126 and ISO 27001, which have recently been certified by AENOR. This initiative confirms the wiliness of the Government of La Rioja to attain the ISO quality standards, and will put it in an advantageous position to obtain the CMMI quality certification. This milestone means a boost for the Agency, whose objective is to energise the participation of the agents from La Rioja in consolidating the electronic administration, fomenting the efficient usage of the information and communication technologies; and in promoting the management of the technical knowledge and training of the Autonomic Community of La Rioja.
